I haven't posted on here in so long but Mark Jubert inspired me (like always). This blog is empty because I kept deleting everything off it when I got embarrassed about dumb things I said or did. I was so dumb. Not just for doing those dumb things but for trying to erase them from existence. I wish I still had those posts. I wish I still had those memories. The best part of my life is declining and rapidly coming to a close. I yearn for more time. For more interaction. Have I touched the lives of enough people? Will I be remembered? These questions haunt me. I feel as if I've already been forgotten by most of the people I used to call my friends. The core group is still with me, and I think they will be for a long while. But I question these failed relationships and passing friendships. What purpose did they serve? Were they just time killers? Meaningless spots on my life used to fill gaps left by lack of occurrence? I'm assured I will come to the answers eventually. I'm going to start keeping a journal every day. I need to have my thoughts written down so I can come back and reflect. Search for patterns of interaction to discover my purpose. Until then, I'll probably revert back to tumblr and being too lazy to actually write anything, as opposed to just reblogging.

Just got back from this show and it ruled so much. Troops of Tomorrow started it off really good. Their a fairly new band but the stage presence was great and the music even better. Mindset ruled. End of story. Lion of Judah was good but not really what I expected from the few recordings I'd heard. The guitars went from heavy hardcore to almost nu metal sounding riffs making for a real....interesting sound. Overall though I liked em. Then Title Fight played. Immediately the room was a swirl of people running up to the front and jumping off the stage. Unfortunately most of the people jumping off were pretty big guys and didn't stay up too long. Title Fight is a great band and this show was a perfect example. Finally after waiting for them all night, Trapped Under Ice played. They were soo fucking good. Right off the first song people were running around and dancing. I think the highlight of the set was during Half a Person, when nearly half the crowd ran towards the stage to sing along. All in all, this was a great show.
Heres some pictures of Mindset.

To start off the new blog style I just listened to all of belegosts songs on one cd.
For those few of you who read my blog and dont know, Belegost is a vegan black metal band in Gaithersburg. Its nateXmetal and Kyle. If you like black metal youll like this. If you dont like this what the fuck is wrong with you?? You dont support local music?
But seriously listen to em and give em a chance they may grow on you. Maybe not.
Theyre gettin signed pretty soon by some metal label or somethin so look for that. Or dont. They probably wont care either way.
Listen to em at myspace.com/vbelegostv
Im starting this blog over. Its now actually gonna have a purpose and that purpose will be talking about music that I like and just listened for the first time or shows I went to or Ill post some of my photography and talk about it like some kind of artsy hipster.
